Hi I’m Niki and I’m the owner and artist behind Niki Sprekos Photography. I’m a Melbourne photographer that specialises in newborn, maternity, baby and cake smash photography. As a mother of two beautiful girls, I understand the importance of creating lasting memories that are natural and timeless.
Newborns – My passion is in capturing newborns in their first few weeks. I will ensure that I capture all the moments when they are super tiny and make sure your love and connection shows too. I love photographing sessions in a timeless, simple, modern and minimalist way.
Newborn sessions are held in my home studio, which is the perfect environment for your newborn. I work with beautiful natural light, it’s warm, inviting and a perfect place to sit back, relax and watch your newborn’s first photoshoot.
Maternity – Nothing is more beautiful than capturing pregnancy and the miracle that is motherhood. I promise to ensure you as an expecting mothers to feels special and beautiful. My studio sessions are fun, relaxed and natural so your raw emotion and love is captured. Maternity sessions are held in the studio and taken ideally around 28-34 weeks into pregnancies.
Baby – I loves capturing a babies cute and unique personality through photography. The recommended age for baby photography is between 6-12 months when they are ideally able to sit up unassisted. It’s a great time to capture their first baby stages such as sitting, crawling, rolling, smiling and maybe even standing. I always ensure I capture babies in a simple, modern and minimalist way keeping the focus on your gorgeous baby.
Cake Smash – There is nothing more special than celebrating your babies first birthday. I keep cake smashes minimalistic and beautiful. I will ensure I capture those smiles, tears, giggles and of course all the mess that comes with this special shoot. We can also finish off with family images and of course a bath as well.
Location – My clients come from all over Melbourne. My studio is located in Malvern East, Melbourne. Niki Sprekos Photography is only a 3 minute drive from Chadstone Shopping Centre, or 15 minutes from Melbourne CBD.
