I'm Lyn, the heart behind Wonderland Photography.

My son Fletcher was born in 2004, and from that moment I became completely obsessed with capturing childhood. I started studying photography in 2006 and spent the next decade photographing friends, family, and the kids who came through my family day care - a business I ran for 15 years. Those families weren't just clients, they were part of my world, and I got to watch their kids grow up through my lens and these families are still some of my best friends.

Then in 2015, my daughter Alice arrived - and I started a handmade children's clothing business. I needed photos of the clothes, photos of them being modelled and somewhere along the way I looked at what I was creating and thought - hang on, I should just do this for real.

In 2017, Wonderland Photography was officially born.

I also bring over 20 years of early childhood education, primary teaching and family support to every session - which is a fancy way of saying kids don't faze me. At all. Wiggly, tantruming toddlers, grumpy tweens, dads who walk in with their arms crossed and leave chatting more than mum - I read the room, I meet people where they are, and I make it feel easy.

My superpower is communication and connection. I am deeply people-oriented, and I genuinely care about every family who books with me. This isn't a big studio. It's just me, my camera, and a genuine love of people.
